Sea-Saw Design - Textile Artist

Sea-Saw Design - Heading homeI first met the lovely Caroline from Sea-Saw design at the Sturminster Newton Christmas fair last year, our stands were next to each other and think we spent a lot of the day talking about food!

Caroline is a Textile Artist based in Dorset and you can really see how the beautiful landscape around inspires her work. There's something really captivating about every one of Carolines art works and each one is completely unique.

I'm not quite sure how she does it though, as well as exhibiting her work at lots of local arts and craft fairs she also supplies a lot of local shops with her work including the visitor centre at Hengistbury Head, Butterfly Bright in Sherborne and even over in Guernsey at Shabby Chic.

Sea-Saw Design The Big MusselMy personal favourite (hint hint if a certain person reads this before Valentines day!) is the framed art work 'Heading for Home' it's been made by layering different fabrics including antique lace, silk and linens. I also love the cushions but can't pick a favourite, love them all!!
