The Purbeck area gives a photographer a wealth of subject matter and it seems Andy just takes every opportunity to scout out those breath taking scenes. His website just bursts at the seams with pictures of the local landmarks in just about every season and light condition you can think of and I could spend hours virtually thumbing through them. My particular favorites are of course the photographs of Corfe Castle in various states of seasonality. As Andy puts it himself:
I can dash to if I spot a promising looking sky out of the window, so it helps stack the odds of some good shots in my favour. Its not just landscapes however, Andy doesn't seem to be afraid to experiment and post something just a little different. The infrared images caught my eye with Corfe Castle pictured sharply against a frost covered graveyard made me shudder and I'm not sure whether in response to the perceived cold or the stark demonstration of history and death. But not to get to morbid, I really enjoy Andy's lens view of the area and shall watch out for his work in the future.
