So I've finally managed to
find some time after the great day at Woofstock UK to let you know how it went!
Have to say the organisers did a great job of pulling together some fantastic
local people to come along and exhibit and I met some really interesting and
creative people, as well as some fab dogs!
There was a real mix
including local crafts people like ‘a
tiny piece of me’ (got the perfect idea for my mums Christmas present now!)
and ‘the basket boutique’
which had some amazing things from local people, particularly loved the doggy
aprons! Will definitely be heading over to give them a visit before Christmas!
Had a really interesting chat with Linda from Jam
Jacks, who have a genius alternative to the collar if your pet has had
surgery or treatment, and I have to say the jackets as well as being practical
looked pretty cute too!
Also had an incredibly
insightful talk with the ladies at AnimalsAsia,
have to say I feel quite naïve to some of the cruelty that goes on in the world
and the work they are doing is phenomenal, they had a lot of great support from
people at Woofstock UK and hope the upcoming campaigns are a great success in
working towards long term change.
Was also great to see some
familiar faces over at the Margaret Green
stall and hope you all enjoyed the day!
Now I have some great dogs to
paint including the ‘award winning’ Cassie the Lassie who won 2nd
place in the prettiest dog competition!
We really love Cassie's painting. Can't wait to hang it when the decorating is finished. Thanks so much Lucy Tidbury. From Trudy and Tony in Poole
